Genus: Digitaria   Crabgrass
About 300 species of annual and perennial grasses native to tropical and warm temperate regions. "Digitus" is the Latin word for "finger" refering to the finger-like inflorescence. Tribe Paniceae.

Scientific Name: Digitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop.
